3-Day Family-Friendly Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada and Sinquerim Beach
    30 minutes (8.3 miles) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, head to Fort Aguada, a 17th-century Portuguese fort with spectacular views of the Arabian Sea. Spend some time exploring the fort's many sections, including a lighthouse and a jail. Afterward, head to Sinquerim Beach, a popular spot for water sports and relaxation. Enjoy some beach activities, lunch, and then visit the historic Aguada Jail. In the evening, watch the sunset and enjoy the beach breeze with some street food.

  2. Day 2: Anjuna Flea Market and Baga Beach
    20 minutes (6.2 miles) from Sinquerim Beach

    In the morning, explore the famous Anjuna Flea Market, where you can find everything from clothes to jewelry to home decor. Afterward, head to Baga Beach, a popular spot with plenty of activities for the whole family. Enjoy some water sports, relax on the beach, and have lunch at one of the many beach shacks. In the evening, explore the vibrant nightlife of Baga with live music and dance performances.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Falls and Spice Plantation
    1 hour 30 minutes (42 miles) from Baga Beach

    In the morning, head to the majestic Dudhsagar Falls, which translates to "Sea of Milk" in English. You can hike to the falls or take a Jeep tour. Afterward, visit a nearby spice plantation and learn about the different spices grown in Goa. Have lunch at the plantation and enjoy some traditional Goan cuisine. In the evening, visit the nearby Tambdi Surla temple, a 12th-century temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.

If you have more time, consider visiting the beautiful beaches of Palolem and Colva. You can also take a day trip to the nearby state of Karnataka to explore the historic city of Hampi. For a unique experience, try a sunset cruise on the Mandovi River or a hot air balloon ride over the countryside.
