4-Day Itinerary for Dwarka, Somnath, Diu, Gir in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Dwarka
    2 hours 45 minutes (141.7 km) from Rajkot Airport

    In the morning, visit the Dwarkadhish Temple, one of the Char Dham Hindu Pilgrimage sites. It's an important religious site dedicated to Lord Krishna, and has a fascinating history. In the afternoon, head to Beyt Dwarka, a sacred Hindu island known for its temples and beaches. It's only accessible by ferry, but it's worth the trip. In the evening, visit the Rukmini Devi Temple, a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Krishna's wife.

  2. Day 2: Somnath
    3 hours 30 minutes (211.6 km) from Dwarka

    In the morning, explore the Somnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. It's a beautiful temple with a stunning ocean view. In the afternoon, visit the Junagadh Gate and the nearby Bhalaka Tirth, a serene temple with a sacred pond. In the evening, enjoy a sunset at Triveni Sangam, the confluence of three rivers.

  3. Day 3: Diu
    2 hours 10 minutes (91.6 km) from Somnath
