Three Days in Goa on a Shoestring Budget

  1. Day 1: Old Goa
    30 minutes (11.7 km) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Basilica of Bom Jesus, which houses the remains of St. Francis Xavier. Afternoon stroll around the Se Cathedral and the Convent and Church of St. Francis of Assisi. In the evening visit the beautiful Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception and enjoy the scenic sunset at Miramar Beach.

  2. Day 2: Panaji and Fontainhas
    20 minutes (7.9 km) from Old Goa

    Begin the day with a visit to the famous Our Lady of the Mount Chapel, followed by a leisurely walk around the Latin Quarter of Fontainhas with its colourful Portuguese-style houses. In the afternoon, explore the vibrant market of Mapusa and indulge in some street food. End the day by watching the sunset at Dona Paula and enjoying some street performances.

  3. Day 3: Anjuna and Vagator Beaches
    1 hour (22 km) from Panaji

    Start the day with a visit to the flea market at Anjuna Beach to shop for souvenirs, clothes and jewellery. Afternoon delight in water sports activities at Vagator Beach. End the day with a bonfire party at the beach, enjoying some live music and local Goan cuisine.
