Recommendations

If you have an extra day, you can visit the Rumtek Monastery, which is the largest monastery in Sikkim. You can also take a side trip to the Teesta River, which offers thrilling rafting experiences. To maximize your fun, try the local Sikkimese cuisine, which includes momos, thukpa, and gundruk. Finally, make sure to pack warm clothing as the temperature can drop significantly at high altitudes.
