A single ticket costs around €1.75, and there are discounted passes available. Taxis are also readily available but are more expensive. If you plan on exploring the island, renting a car may be a good option, as it provides the most flexibility. Rental cars cost around €20-30 per day.

Gran Canaria Airport (LPA) is the main airport serving the island. It is located in the eastern part of the island, approximately 25 kilometers from the city center of Las Palmas.
