4-Day Family Friendly Itinerary in Goa - June 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore the Beaches
    30 minutes (14.3 km) from Goa International Airport

    Start your day early and head straight to Baga Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Goa. Enjoy a morning stroll along the shoreline, take a dip in the sea, and try some water activities. In the afternoon, head to Anjuna Beach, famous for its Wednesday Flea Market. Shop for souvenirs, clothes, and jewellery. In the evening, visit Calangute Beach, which has a lively nightlife scene with a variety of restaurants and bars.

  2. Day 2: Visit the Temples
    1 hour 10 minutes (40.8 km) from Baga Beach

    Begin your day with a visit to the Shanta Durga Temple in Ponda, dedicated to the goddess of peace. Then, head to the Mangueshi Temple, one of the largest and most visited temples in Goa. In the afternoon, visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest churches in India. End your day with a visit to the beautifully lit up Church of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception in Panaji.

  3. Day 3: Explore the Wildlife
    1 hour 30 minutes (64.5 km) from Basilica of Bom Jesus

    Get ready for an exciting day at the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to many species of animals and birds. Take a walk through the park and observe the animals in their natural habitat. After lunch, head to the nearby Butterfly Conservatory, where you can see many species of butterflies. In the evening, visit the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary and spot various species of birds.

  4. Day 4: Water Activities and Forts
    1 hour 20 minutes (49.9 km) from Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary

    Spend your last day in Goa enjoying water activities at the Grand Island. Try snorkelling, scuba diving, and dolphin watching. After lunch, visit the Aguada Fort, a well-preserved 17th-century Portuguese fort. Explore the fort and enjoy the beautiful view of the sea from the top. In the evening, visit the Fort Chapora, made famous by the Bollywood movie "Dil Chahta Hai".
