Start your day early and reach Kulem Railway Station by 6:00AM. Meet your guide and group and get ready to start your trek towards the majestic Dudhsagar Waterfall.
After a two-hour trek, you will reach the Mollem Checkpost. This is the entrance to the Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary, which houses the Dudhsagar Waterfall. The checkpost is located amidst lush greenery and is a great spot to take a break.
The highlight of the trek is the Dudhsagar Waterfall, which is one of the tallest waterfalls in India. The waterfall looks stunning in September and is a great spot to relax and take a dip in the refreshing waters. Spend a few hours here before starting your descent.
Start your descent towards the Mollem Checkpost. The lush greenery and the gushing streams make the trek back equally enjoyable. Reach the checkpost by 2:00PM.
Board a train from Kulem Railway Station and head back to your accommodation. The trek may leave you exhausted, but the memories will stay with you forever.
If you have some extra time, you can consider visiting the Tambdi Surla Temple, which is located near the Mollem Checkpost. This ancient temple is a great spot to learn about the history and culture of Goa. You can also plan a day trip to the nearby beaches of South Goa such as Colva and Palolem.
