7-Day Itinerary for Rio and Sao Paulo in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Christ the Redeemer Statue

  4. Day 4: Liberdade Neighborhood

Recommendations

If you have time, consider taking a trip to Paraty, a colonial town with stunning architecture and beautiful beaches. You can also visit the Rio Carnival Museum to learn about the history of Carnival in Rio and see some of the elaborate costumes. To maximize your fun, try taking a samba class or going on a street art tour in Sao Paulo. Finally, be sure to try the caipirinha, Brazil's national cocktail, at least once during your trip!
