A 4-Day Itinerary for Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore the Historical Sites of Old Goa

    In the morning, visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest churches in Goa. In the afternoon, explore the ruins of the Church of St. Augustine and the Arch of Vice Roy. End your day at the Museum of Christian Art, displaying artefacts from the Portuguese era.

  2. Day 2: Enjoy the Beaches of North Goa
    30 minutes (17.9 km) from Old Goa

    Start your day with a visit to the picturesque Morjim Beach to watch the sunrise. Next, head to the famous Baga Beach and enjoy water sports like parasailing, jet skiing, and banana boat ride. In the evening, visit Anjuna Beach to experience the famous flea market and enjoy live music and a beach party.

  3. Day 3: Discover the Culture of South Goa
    1 hour and 20 minutes (48.7 km) from North Goa Beaches

    Begin your day by visiting the Shri Manguesh Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, before heading to the Sahakari Spice Farm to learn about the local spice plantation. In the afternoon, visit the charming village of Loutolim, home to the famous Figueiredo Mansion, a 500-year-old Portuguese house-museum. End your day with a visit to the Palacio do Deao, a stunning Indo-Portuguese mansion built-in 1787, with a beautiful view of the Kushavati River.

  4. Day 4: Explore the Konkan Coast
    2 hours and 30 minutes (110 km) from South Goa

    Start your day by visiting the stunning Dudhsagar Falls and enjoy a dip in the natural pool. Then, take a drive through the Western Ghats to reach the secluded Galgibaga Beach, one of the cleanest and least crowded beaches in Goa. End your day by visiting the Cabo de Rama Fort, a 17th-century Portuguese fort with a breathtaking view of the Arabian sea.

Don't forget to try the Goan cuisine, especially the seafood, and the local drink, Feni. You can also take a day trip to the beautiful Divar Island or the tropical Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary.
