Family-Friendly Itinerary: Bangalore and Mysore

  1. Day 1: Bangalore
    30 km (18.6 miles) from Bangalore International Airport

    In the morning, visit the Bannerghatta Biological Park, a 25,000-acre park with a zoo, aquarium, butterfly park and safari park. Enjoy the sight of tigers, lions, elephants and bears in a natural environment. In the afternoon, head to the Wonderla Amusement Park, an entertainment destination with over 60 rides for adults and children. In the evening, visit the UB City Mall, a luxury shopping destination with high-end brands, restaurants and boutiques.

  2. Day 2: Mysore

    In the morning, visit the Mysore Palace, the official residence of the Wadiyar dynasty and a fine example of Indo-Saracenic architecture. In the afternoon, visit the Rail Museum, which displays locomotives, carriages, photographs and other artifacts related to the Indian railways. In the evening, visit the St. Philomena's Cathedral, a Gothic-style Catholic church, known for its stained glass windows and twin spires.
