Useful Tips

If you have more time to spare, consider visiting other cenotes (natural sinkholes) in the Yucatan Peninsula or one of the other archeological sites nearby. Popular options include Chichen Itza and Coba. On the other hand, if you have less time, consider visiting the Cenote Chaak Tun or Playa Delfines for a quick swim.

Airports

Cancun International Airport (CUN) is Mexico's second busiest airport and one of the most important tourist airports in the world. The airport is located approximately 22.5 km from Cancun city center and takes about 30 minutes by car. Visitors can access the city with a taxi, bus, or private transfer.
