5-Day Bachelor Party Itinerary in Afghanistan (August 2023)

  1. Day 1: Kabul
    10 minutes (3 miles) from Hamid Karzai International Airport

    In the morning, visit the National Museum of Afghanistan to explore the country's rich history. In the afternoon, head to the Kabul Golf Club to work on your golf swings. Finally, end the day with dinner at Babur Gardens, a beautiful garden restaurant offering traditional Afghan cuisine.

  2. Day 2: Bamiyan
    1 hour 15 minutes (78 miles) from Kabul

    Start the day with a visit to the famous Bamiyan Buddhas, two ancient statues carved into a cliffside. Afterward, head to Band-e-Amir National Park for some swimming or hiking. End the day with a traditional Afghan dinner at a local restaurant in Bamiyan.

  3. Day 3: Mazar-i-Sharif

    Begin with a visit to the Shrine of Baba Wali, a beautiful mosque and tomb complex located outside of Kandahar. In the afternoon, visit the Kandahar Museum to learn more about the city's history. Finally, end the day with a relaxing visit to the Kandahar Botanical Garden.

Recommendations

If you have more time, consider a visit to the Panjshir Valley for some hiking or a visit to the Salang Pass for some stunning views. For a side trip, head to the Wakhan Corridor for some trekking and to see the beautiful Wakhan Valley.
