Four-Day Itinerary for Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Visit the Beaches
    30 minutes (22 km) from Goa International Airport

    Start your day with a visit to the beautiful Calangute Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Goa. Enjoy the morning breeze while taking a dip in the Arabian Sea. After a refreshing swim, visit the Aguada Fort and lighthouse, which offers a panoramic view of the sea. Have lunch at one of the beach shacks and try some fresh seafood. Spend your afternoon at Baga Beach, which is known for its nightlife and water sports. Take a banana boat or parasailing ride, or simply relax and enjoy the sunset.

  2. Day 2: Explore the Temples and Churches
    45 minutes (18 km) from Baga Beach

    Start your day by visiting the famous Mangueshi Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, and the Shanta Durga Temple, which is dedicated to the goddess of peace. Afterward, visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which houses the remains of St. Francis Xavier. Have lunch at a local restaurant and then visit the Se Cathedral, one of the largest churches in Asia. End your day at the Chapora Fort, which offers a beautiful view of the coastline.

  3. Day 3: Discover the Spice Plantations
    1 hour 15 minutes (56 km) from Old Goa

    Start your day with an early morning visit to the Sahakari Spice Farm, where you can learn about the various spices grown in Goa and enjoy a traditional Goan lunch. Afterward, visit the Mollem National Park and the Dudhsagar Waterfalls, where you can take a dip in the refreshing waters and enjoy the scenic beauty of the surroundings. In the evening, head back to your hotel and relax.

  4. Day 4: Cruise on the Mandovi River
    30 minutes (14 km) from Dudhsagar Waterfalls

    Start your day with a visit to the Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, a beautiful church located in the heart of Panaji. Afterward, take a cruise on the Mandovi River and enjoy the serenity of the surroundings. Have lunch at a local restaurant and visit the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, which is home to a variety of birds.
