Recommendations

Don't miss the chance to visit the Saturday Night Market in Arpora, which is only on Saturdays and offers great food, drinks, and shopping. If you have time, take a boat cruise along the Mandovi River or visit the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary. For a side trip, head to the nearby state of Karnataka and visit the historic city of Hampi. To maximize your fun, try to go during the off-season (June-September) when the prices are lower and the crowds are thinner. Lastly, make sure to try the local Feni drink, made from cashew or coconut, which is a must-try in Goa.
