Two-Day Relaxation Itinerary in Mumbai, June 2023

  1. Day 1: Hanging Gardens and Marine Drive
    30 minutes (8.5 km) from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus

    Start your day with a visit to the Hanging Gardens, a beautiful terraced garden located on the western side of Malabar Hill. Enjoy the scenic view of the Arabian Sea and the city's skyline. Afterward, head to Marine Drive, a 3.6 km long boulevard along the Arabian Sea. Take a walk along the promenade while enjoying the sea breeze and the view of the sunset.   2. Day 2: Elephanta Caves and Juhu Beach
    1 hour and 20 minutes (21.1 km) from Marine Drive

    Take a morning ferry to Elephanta Island to explore the Elephanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The caves feature rock-cut temples dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva and are filled with intricate carvings and sculptures. Afterward, return to the mainland and head to Juhu Beach, a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. Relax on the beach, take a stroll, and enjoy the sunset while trying some of the delicious street food vendors along the beach.
