Morning: Start your day with a visit to the Piazza Tasso, the main square in Sorrento. This is the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee and watch the world go by. After that, you can head to the Chiesa di San Francesco to marvel at the stunning architecture of this historic church.
Afternoon: For lunch head down to one of Sorrento's beaches. We recommend Marina Grande, which is just a short walk from the city center. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from here where you can enjoy fresh seafood and local cuisine.
Evening: End your day with a visit to the Villa Comunale di Sorrento, a beautiful garden with panoramic views of the Gulf of Naples. Here you can relax and watch the sunset over the sea.
Morning: Start your day early and head to Positano, one of the most picturesque towns along the Amalfi Coast. Take some time to wander through the narrow streets and admire the brightly colored houses.
Afternoon: After lunch, head to Amalfi to explore the town's historic center and visit the stunning Cattedrale di Sant'Andrea. Make sure to take some time to relax on the beach and take a swim in the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean.
Evening: End your day with dinner at one of Amalfi's many seafood restaurants. We recommend Ristorante Marina Grande for its beautiful views of the harbor and delicious seafood dishes.
If you have time, we recommend visiting Ravello, a beautiful town located high above the Amalfi Coast. Here you can visit the stunning Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo, both of which offer incredible views of the coast. If you're interested in hiking, we recommend the Path of the Gods, a beautiful trail that offers stunning views of the coast.
For side trips, you can explore the nearby towns of Praiano, Furore, and Maiori. If you're interested in history, you can visit the ancient city of Pompeii, which is located just a short drive from Sorrento.
To maximize your fun, we recommend booking a boat tour of the Amalfi Coast. This is a great way to see the coast from a different perspective and visit secluded beaches and coves.
Finally, we suggest trying some of the local cuisine, such as the delicious pizza and seafood dishes that are famous in this region. Don't forget to try the limoncello, a lemon liqueur that is a specialty of the area.
