A 2-Day Itinerary for Venice in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Piazza San Marco
    10 minutes (1 mile) from Santa Lucia Train Station

    Start your day at Piazza San Marco, the heart of Venice. Admire the stunning architecture of St. Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace. Take a leisurely walk along the canals and explore the charming streets of Venice. In the afternoon, visit the Peggy Guggenheim Collection to see some of the 20th century’s greatest works of art. In the evening, take a gondola ride through the canals and enjoy the beautiful Venetian sunset.

  2. Day 2: Rialto Bridge
    20 minutes (1.5 miles) from Piazza San Marco

    Start your day at the Rialto Bridge, the oldest and most famous bridge in Venice. Explore the Rialto Market and sample some of Venetian cuisine’s finest specialties. Next, visit the Accademia Gallery to see some of Venice's most iconic art pieces. Finally, take a water taxi to the colorful island of Burano, famous for its lace making and colorful houses. In the evening, head back to Venice and enjoy a traditional Venetian meal.
