4-Day Shoestring Budget Itinerary for Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada
    30 minutes (9.3 km) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, visit the magnificent Fort Aguada and explore the history behind it, the lighthouse and scenic views of the Arabian Sea. In the afternoon, head to the nearby Sinquerim Beach to relax, sunbathe and try out various water sports.   2. Day 2: Panaji
    30 minutes (13.6 km) from Fort Aguada

    Start your day with a visit to the colonial-era Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the resting place of St. Francis Xavier. In the afternoon, head to the Fontainhas, the Latin Quarter of Panaji, and witness the colourful houses, art galleries and heritage buildings. In the evening, take a stroll through the Mandovi Riverfront and enjoy some local delicacies.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours (70 km) from Panaji

    Embark on a day trip to the majestic Dudhsagar Falls, one of India's tallest waterfalls, situated on the Mandovi River. In the morning, go on a jeep safari through the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary, home to several species of flora and fauna. In the afternoon, enjoy a refreshing swim and picnic beside the falls.
