A 4-Day Family-Friendly Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada
    45 minutes (13.5 km) from Goa International Airport

    Start your trip by visiting the iconic Fort Aguada. This 17th-century fort stands tall against the Arabian Sea and offers a magnificent view of the coastline. Explore the fort, take a walk on the ramparts and visit the lighthouse. After lunch, head to Sinquerim Beach, just a 10-minute walk away. Enjoy playing in the sand, build sandcastles, and take a dip in the sea. In the evening, head to Candolim Beach, famous for its water sports activities, especially parasailing.

  2. Day 2: Basilica of Bom Jesus
    30 minutes (11 km) from Candolim Beach

    Start your day by visiting the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This 16th-century church houses the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier. Take a stroll in the nearby gardens and visit the Museum of Christian Art. After lunch, head to Dona Paula Beach. Take a walk on the beach, enjoy the sea breeze and watch the sunset. In the evening, visit the vibrant Tito's Lane in Baga for some shopping and dinner at one of the many restaurants and cafes.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    2 hours (77 km) from Baga

    A trip to Goa would be incomplete without a visit to the spectacular Dudhsagar Waterfalls. Start early to beat the crowds and enjoy the scenic drive. Take a dip in the refreshing pool at the bottom of the falls. After lunch, head to the spice plantations in Ponda for a guided tour. Learn about different spices, plantation techniques and enjoy a traditional Goan lunch. In the evening, head to Colva Beach to relax and unwind.

  4. Day 4: Anjuna Flea Market
    45 minutes (15 km) from Colva Beach

    Start your day by visiting the famous Anjuna Flea Market. This weekly market offers a wide range of items, including clothes, jewelry, handicrafts, and souvenirs. After lunch, head to the nearby Vagator Beach. The beach is famous for its red cliffs and Chapora Fort, which offers a stunning view of the sea. In the evening, visit the lively Calangute Beach and indulge in some beachside shopping and seafood.

Apart from the above itinerary, you can consider a day trip to the scenic Divar Island. You can also try your luck at the casinos in Panaji.
