Family-Friendly 4-Day Itinerary for Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Colva Beach
    20 minutes (8.2 km) from Goa International Airport

    Start your trip with a relaxing morning at Colva Beach, one of the longest and most popular beaches in South Goa. Take a swim, play some beach volleyball, or rent a bicycle and explore the area. For lunch, try some local seafood at one of the beach shacks. In the afternoon, visit the nearby St. John the Baptist Church and the Our Lady of Mercy Church. In the evening, enjoy a sunset walk on the beach and have dinner at one of the restaurants along the shore.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
    1 hour 30 minutes (60 km) from Colva Beach

    Today, take a day trip to the majestic Dudhsagar Falls. You can reach the falls by a short trek or a jeep safari. Enjoy a swim in the cool waters of the falls and admire the breathtaking views of the surrounding forest. After lunch, visit the Mahadev Temple and the Tambdi Surla Temple, two ancient temples located nearby. Return to Colva Beach in the evening for dinner.

  3. Day 3: Basilica of Bom Jesus
    1 hour (35 km) from Colva Beach

    Start your day by visiting the historic Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most famous churches in Goa. Admire the beautiful Baroque architecture and learn about the interesting history of the church. After lunch, visit the nearby Museum of Christian Art and the Goa State Museum to learn more about the rich cultural heritage of Goa. In the evening, take a stroll through the lovely Fontainhas neighbourhood, known for its colourful Portuguese-style houses, and have dinner at one of the local restaurants.

  4. Day 4: Anjuna Beach
    1 hour 15 minutes (50 km) from Basilica of Bom Jesus

    Spend your last day at Anjuna Beach, a popular beach known for its nightlife and hippie culture. Enjoy a swim in the sea, take a yoga class, or shop for souvenirs at the Anjuna Flea Market. For lunch, try some delicious Goan cuisine at one of the beachside shacks. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Chapora Fort, which offers stunning views of the Arabian Sea. In the evening, enjoy a sunset party on the beach and have dinner at one of the many restaurants or bars along the shore.
