Nature Lover's 3-Day Itinerary in Goa

  1. Day 1: Dudhsagar Falls
    1 hour 30 minutes (47.9 km) from Goa International Airport

    Start your morning early as you head towards the spectacular Dudhsagar Falls. The journey to the falls includes a bumpy jeep ride through the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can spot different species of animals and birds. Once you reach the waterfall, take a refreshing swim and feel the mist against your skin.     Spend your morning exploring the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, a paradise for bird lovers. This sanctuary is home to more than 400 species of birds, including the purple heron, black bittern, and bee-eater. After lunch, head towards the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can see different species of animals like barking deer, spotted deer, and Indian bison. Take a guided tour to learn about the flora and fauna of the sanctuary, and end your day with a visit to the mini zoo.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Plantation and Spice Farm

    Start your final day in Goa by visiting the Dudhsagar Plantation and Spice Farm, where you can take a tour to learn about the different spices grown on the farm, including cinnamon, pepper, and vanilla. Take a dip in the natural pool, and enjoy the fish spa. After lunch, head towards the Tambdi Surla Temple, a 12th-century temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is surrounded by lush green forests, and you can take a short trek to the nearby Mahadev Temple. End your day with a sunset cruise along the Mandovi River.
