Recommendations

Meghalaya has many more waterfalls to offer, and a visit to Nohkalikai Falls and Seven Sisters Falls is highly recommended. You can also consider taking a day trip to Cherrapunjee, which is home to the world's wettest place and also offers other attractions such as the Double Decker Root Bridge and the Mawsmai Caves. For adventure enthusiasts, river rafting in the Umngot River in Dawki is a must-do. To maximize your fun, consider traveling during the Meghalaya Annual Cultural Festival held in August, which showcases the best of the state's music, dance, and cultural heritage.
