Recommendations

Other local attractions to consider include the Pykara Waterfall, the Nilgiri Mountain Railway, and the Tea Museum. A side trip to Bandipur National Park or Mudumalai National Park could also be a great addition to the itinerary. To maximize your fun, try some of the local cuisine, such as the famous Ooty Varkey or homemade chocolates, and shop for souvenirs at the local markets. Don't forget to take warm clothes as the weather can get chilly in the evenings.
