Recommendations

If you have more time, consider visiting the Basilica of Bom Jesus, the spice plantations in Ponda, and the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary. You can also take a trip to the nearby Gokarna Beach or to the neighboring state of Karnataka. To maximize your fun, make sure to book your hotel and flights in advance and plan your transportation options beforehand. Goa can get crowded during November, so be prepared for traffic and plan your itinerary accordingly. Don't forget to try the local seafood and feni, the traditional Goan drink made from cashews or coconuts.
