Exploring the City of Goa in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Old Goa
    30 minutes (9.8 km) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, visit the Se Cathedral, one of the largest churches in Asia, and the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that houses the remains of St. Francis Xavier. In the afternoon, head to the Museum of Christian Art, showcasing Indo-Portuguese artifacts and paintings. In the evening, take a stroll around the Fontainhas, Goa's Latin Quarter and witness the beautiful heritage buildings and colorful streets.

  2. Day 2: Panaji
    25 minutes (7.5 km) from Old Goa

    In the morning, visit the Immaculate Conception Church, a beautiful white structure in the heart of Panaji. In the afternoon, explore the colorful market streets of Panaji and shop for local souvenirs. In the evening, enjoy a river cruise along the Mandovi River and admire the sunset while listening to live music.

  3. Day 3: Mapusa
    30 minutes (13.8 km) from Panaji

    In the morning, head to the Mapusa Market, one of Goa's most famous markets, to experience the colorful display of local produce, spices, and handicrafts. In the afternoon, visit the St. Jerome Church, a stunning white structure built-in 1594. In the evening, witness the vibrant nightlife of North Goa at Club LPK Waterfront or the Titos Lane.

  4. Day 4: Margao
    35 minutes (22 km) from Mapusa

    In the morning, visit the Holy Spirit Church, one of the oldest churches in Goa. In the afternoon, visit the famous Colva Beach and enjoy water sports activities like parasailing and jet skiing. In the evening, explore the local Goan cuisine at Martin's Corner or Pentagon Restaurant.

  5. Day 5: Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    2 hours (66 km) from Margao

    In the morning, visit the majestic Dudhsagar Waterfalls and take a dip in the refreshing water. In the afternoon, head to the nearby Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary and Mollem National Park for a jungle safari. In the evening, enjoy a scenic drive back to Goa.
