3-Day Itinerary for Goa, August 2023

  1. Day 1: Aguada Fort
    20 minutes (5.9km) from Dabolim Airport

    In the morning, visit the Aguada Fort, an iconic historical monument that was built in the 17th century by the Portuguese to protect against enemy attacks. Take a walk around the fort and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Arabian sea. Afterward, head to Sinquerim Beach for some water sports such as jet-skiing, parasailing or banana boat ride. In the evening, head to the nearby Tuscany Gardens for some delicious Italian food.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    2 hours (75km) from Aguada Fort

    Leave early in the morning and drive to the majestic Dudhsagar Waterfalls. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the falls and take a dip in the cool water. You can also go trekking in the nearby forest and explore the rich biodiversity of the area. In the afternoon, visit the nearby spice plantations to experience the aroma of various spices. Don't forget to buy some fresh spices for yourself! In the evening, head back to Goa and enjoy some local Goan cuisine at Cafe Sussegado Souza.

  3. Day 3: Basilica of Bom Jesus and Anjuna Flea Market
    1 hour (24km) from Dudhsagar Waterfalls

    Start your day by visiting the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Admire the Baroque architecture and learn about the history of the church. Afterward, head to the nearby Anjuna Flea Market, where you can shop for local handicrafts, clothes and accessories. In the afternoon, visit the Chapora Fort, made famous in the Bollywood movie Dil Chahta Hai, and enjoy the stunning views of the sunset. In the evening, head back to Panaji and enjoy some authentic Goan cuisine at Viva Panjim.
