Recommendations

If you have extra time, consider visiting the beaches of Kovalam or the historic port town of Fort Kochi. A side trip to the tea plantations of Munnar or the backwaters of Alleppey is also highly recommended. To maximize your fun, book activities such as rock climbing, zip-lining, or white-water rafting in advance. Don't forget to sample the delicious local cuisine, especially seafood and traditional Kerala spices. Finally, be sure to pack comfortable clothing and footwear for the warm and humid weather.
