3-Day City Experience Itinerary in Jaipur, June 2023

  1. Day 1: Hawa Mahal
    15 minutes (3.2 km) from Jaipur City Centre

    In the morning, visit Hawa Mahal, a stunning five-story palace that is known as the Palace of Winds. Marvel at the intricate lattice work and colourful glass windows. In the afternoon, head over to the City Palace, which includes the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces. Walk through the gardens and take in the beauty of the palace. As the sun sets, take a 10-minute walk to Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory that was built in the 18th century.

  2. Day 2: Amber Fort
    30 minutes (13.9 km) from Hawa Mahal

    Start your day early with a 30-minute drive to Amber Fort, a majestic fortress that was once home to the Rajput Maharajas. Take a guided tour of the palace, and be sure to check out the Sheesh Mahal, a stunning hall of mirrors. In the afternoon, visit the Jaigarh Fort, which is a 15-minute drive away. Here, you'll find the largest cannon on wheels in the world. End your day at the Jal Mahal, a palace that appears to be floating on the Man Sagar Lake.

  3. Day 3: Albert Hall Museum
    20 minutes (5.5 km) from Jal Mahal

    Start your day by visiting the Albert Hall Museum, a stunning example of Indo-Saracenic architecture that was built in the late 19th century. Spend the morning exploring the museum's collections, which include everything from ancient Egyptian artefacts to Rajasthani paintings. In the afternoon, visit the Birla Mandir, a beautiful marble temple that is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. As the sun sets, head over to the Nahargarh Fort, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the city.
