4-Day Itinerary for Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada
    1 hour 10 minutes (17.2 km) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, visit Fort Aguada, a 17th-century Portuguese fort with stunning views of the Arabian Sea. Explore the fort's sprawling complex and its lighthouse. In the afternoon, head to Candolim Beach, just a 10-minute drive from the fort, and spend some time relaxing on the sandy beach.   2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls

    In the morning, embark on a 4x4 jeep safari to the magnificent Dudhsagar Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. Take a refreshing dip in the pool at the base of the falls. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Tambdi Surla Mahadev Temple, a 12th-century Shaivite temple surrounded by lush forest. End the day with a sunset cruise along the Mandovi River.

  3. Day 3: Anjuna Flea Market
    30 minutes (14.6 km) from Dudhsagar Falls

    In the morning, visit the famous Anjuna Flea Market, held every Wednesday. Browse through a wide variety of goods, including clothing, accessories, and handicrafts. In the afternoon, head to the nearby Chapora Fort, a popular filming location that overlooks the Chapora River. End the day with dinner at Gunpowder, a highly rated restaurant that serves traditional Goan cuisine.

  4. Day 4: Basilica of Bom Jesus
    1 hour 20 minutes (28.6 km) from Anjuna Flea Market

    In the morning, visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest churches in India. Admire the stunning Baroque architecture and the venerated mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier.
