3-Day Hyderabad Family Friendly Itinerary in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Charminar
    25 minutes (7.2 km) from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport

    In the morning, visit the iconic Charminar which is a must-visit landmark in Hyderabad. You can climb up to the top of the monument to enjoy an excellent panoramic view of the city. In the afternoon, enjoy shopping at the nearby Laad Bazaar known for its exquisite bangles, pearls, and traditional Hyderabadi attire. In the evening, visit the Mecca Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, located near Charminar and enjoy local delicacies at the street food stalls.

  2. Day 2: Golconda Fort
    30 minutes (10 km) from Charminar

    In the morning, explore the historical Golconda Fort which is famous for its architecture and acoustics. Hire a guide to know more about the history and secrets of the fort. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Qutub Shahi Tombs, which is an excellent example of the Qutub Shahi architecture and a beautiful landscaped garden. In the evening, head to the Hussain Sagar Lake, which is famous for its boating facilities and the giant Buddha statue located in the middle of the lake.

  3. Day 3: Ramoji Film City
    40 minutes (27 km) from Hussain Sagar Lake

    In the morning, visit the Ramoji Film City, which is the largest film studio complex in the world. It has many film sets, theme parks, and attractions for all ages to enjoy. Make sure to book your tickets in advance for a hassle-free experience. In the afternoon, visit the Shilparamam Cultural Society to experience the local arts & crafts and cultural events. In the evening, head to the Chowmahalla Palace, which was once the official residence of the Nizams of Hyderabad, and now a popular tourist attraction.
