Hampi Nature Itinerary for August 2023

  1. Day 1: Matanga Hill

  2. Day 2: Tungabhadra River

    Start your day with a peaceful boat ride along the Tungabhadra River, surrounded by lush greenery. In the afternoon, visit the Anegundi Fort, a historic fort with stunning views of the surrounding hills. In the evening, explore the Hampi Archaeological Museum, which displays a collection of artifacts and sculptures from the Vijayanagara Empire era.

  3. Day 3: Daroji Sloth Bear Sanctuary
    1 hour 15 minutes (24 miles) from Tungabhadra River

    Start your day early and head to the Daroji Sloth Bear Sanctuary for a chance to spot sloth bears in their natural habitat. Aside from the itinerary, you might want to consider visiting the Virupaksha Temple, one of the oldest and most important temples in Hampi.
