You can expect to see parakeets, drongos, and hornbills. In the afternoon, head to Gadeshwar Dam. The dam is about 40 minutes from the fort. It offers a beautiful view and a serene atmosphere. In the evening, explore the local markets and indulge in street food.

  2. Day 2: Ballaleshwar Ashtavinayak Temple
    1 hour 15 minutes (45.1 km) from Panvel

    Begin your day with a visit to Ballaleshwar Ashtavinayak Temple. The temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha and is one of the eight Ashtavinayak temples in Maharashtra. It is believed that the temple was built in the 16th century. In the afternoon, visit the Pandavkada Falls. The waterfall is situated in the Kharghar hills and is about 30 minutes from the temple. In the evening, explore the local cuisine and visit the Kharghar Hills for a beautiful sunset view.
