4-Day Foodie Itinerary in Goa - July 2023

  1. Day 1: Panaji
    30 minutes (25 km) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, head to Confeitaria 31 de Janeiro, and try their freshly baked pãozinhos and pastries. After that, visit the local market in Panaji and sample Goan sausages and chorizos, popularly known as choris pao. In the afternoon, head to Viva Panjim restaurant and try their famous fish thali. After that, visit the Fontainhas area for a walk around the Latin Quarters. In the evening, head to the Ritz Classic for their famous beef cutlet and a glass of their signature drink, the Ritz Special.

  2. Day 2: Mapusa
    25 minutes (16 km) from Panaji

    Start your day with some breakfast at Cafe Tato before heading to the Mapusa market for some fresh produce. Then, visit Cafe Bhonsle for a taste of their famous fish curry rice. In the afternoon, head to Gunpowder for their signature pork vindaloo and mushroom xacuti. After that, visit the St. Jerome Church and the Bodgeshwar Temple. End your day with a cold beer and some live music at the popular Cafe Mojo Pub & Bistro.

  3. Day 3: Margao
    45 minutes (36 km) from Mapusa

  4. Day 4: Vasco Da Gama
