Recommendations

If you have extra time, consider visiting the Alchi Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Zanskar Valley, a remote and picturesque valley in Ladakh. You can also take a trek to the Markha Valley or the Lamayuru Monastery. To maximize your fun, try local dishes such as momos, thukpa, and chang, and participate in a traditional Ladakhi festival if there is one during your visit. Finally, don't forget to acclimatize yourself to the high altitude before embarking on your Ladakh adventure.
