Welcome to Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. In the morning, you will arrive at the airport and meet with our representative. We will then proceed to your hotel and complete the check-in formalities. In the afternoon, we will visit the Mughal Gardens which include Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Chashme Shahi. The gardens are a perfect example of Mughal architecture and are surrounded by beautiful fountains and water channels. In the evening, we will go for a Shikara ride in the Dal Lake and enjoy the picturesque views of the mountains.
After breakfast, we will visit the Shankaracharya Temple which is situated on top of a hill and offers a panoramic view of Srinagar. Then we will visit the Hazratbal Shrine which is a shrine of Islamic importance and houses a holy relic of Prophet Muhammad. In the afternoon, we will explore the local markets of Srinagar and shop for souvenirs and local handicrafts. In the evening, we will visit the Pari Mahal which is a beautiful garden situated on top of a hill and offers a breathtaking view of the city.
After breakfast, we will drive to Gulmarg which is known for its scenic beauty and is also called the "Meadow of Flowers". We will take a cable car ride to the Khilanmarg which is the highest point in the region and offers a panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains. You can also indulge in activities like skiing, snowboarding, and sledging. In the evening, we will return to Srinagar and spend the night at the hotel.
Srinagar has a lot to offer for honeymooners. You can also consider visiting Sonamarg which is situated 80 kilometers from Srinagar and is known for its beautiful landscapes and adventurous activities like trekking and camping. Another place to consider is Pahalgam which is situated 95 kilometers from Srinagar and is known for its beautiful valleys and scenic beauty. To maximize your fun, you can indulge in activities like skiing, snowboarding, and sledging in Gulmarg. Lastly, do not forget to try the local cuisine which includes dishes like Rogan Josh, Gushtaba, and Tabak Maz.
