4-Day Itinerary for Rajasthan in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Jaipur
    30 minutes (7.5 miles) from Sanganer Airport

    In the morning, visit the Amber Fort, one of the most popular tourist attractions in Jaipur and marvel at the stunning architecture and intricate carvings. Afternoon, head to the City Palace, a beautiful palace complex that showcases the rich history and culture of Rajasthan. In the evening, go to Nahargarh Fort to enjoy the stunning sunset views of Jaipur.

  2. Day 2: Jodhpur
    5 hours (335 miles) from Jaipur

    In the morning, visit the Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India and explore the museum inside. Afternoon, head to Jaswant Thada, a beautiful marble cenotaph built by Maharaja Sardar Singh in memory of his father. In the evening, explore the local markets of Jodhpur and try the local cuisine.

  3. Day 3: Udaipur
    4.5 hours (260 miles) from Jodhpur

    In the morning, visit the City Palace, a beautiful palace complex that showcases the rich history and culture of Rajasthan. Afternoon, head to Lake Pichola to take a boat ride and enjoy the stunning views of the City Palace and Lake Palace. In the evening, watch a cultural show at the Bagore-Ki-Haveli.

  4. Day 4: Pushkar
    4 hours (160 miles) from Udaipur

    In the morning, visit the Brahma Temple, the only temple in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma. Afternoon, explore the Pushkar Lake and the colorful bazaars around it. In the evening, visit the Savitri Mata Temple to enjoy the stunning sunset views of the city.

If you have extra time, consider visiting Jaisalmer, the Golden City of Rajasthan, famous for its stunning desert landscapes, forts and palaces. You can also take a side trip to Ranthambore National Park to spot tigers, leopards and other wildlife.
