3-Day Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada
    30 minutes (7.5 miles) from Dabolim Airport

    In the morning, visit Fort Aguada, a historical fort built in the 17th century by the Portuguese. Take a tour of the fort and enjoy the beautiful views of the Arabian Sea. For lunch, head over to Souza Lobo restaurant, located near the fort, and try their famous seafood dishes. In the afternoon, visit the Aguada lighthouse and enjoy the stunning views of the sunset. In the evening, head over to Club Cubana, one of the most popular nightclubs in Goa, and dance to the latest tunes.

  2. Day 2: Baga Beach

    Start your day at Baga Beach, known for its water sports activities such as parasailing, jet-skiing and banana boat rides. For lunch, grab a bite at Britto's, a famous beach restaurant known for its seafood. In the afternoon, visit the Saturday Night Market, an open-air market with stalls selling clothes, jewelry, and other souvenirs. In the evening, head over to Shiva Valley, a beach shack that transforms into a nightclub at night, and dance to the beats of trance music.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours (44 miles) from Baga Beach

    Get an early start to visit Dudhsagar Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. Enjoy a scenic train ride through the Western Ghats and trek through the forest to reach the falls. Take a dip in the refreshing waters of the falls. Afternoon you can visit Spice Plantations and try different spices and herbs. In the evening, head back to Goa and visit the Tito's Lane in Baga for a fun night out.

Recommendations

If you have extra days, consider visiting the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage site, or taking a day trip to the beautiful and serene Divar Island. You can also try water sports in Calangute Beach and visit the famous Anjuna Flea Market on Wednesdays. To maximize your fun, try the local cuisine such as Goan fish curry, pork vindaloo, and bebinca, a traditional Goan dessert. Lastly, make sure to stay hydrated during the hot summer months and carry sunscreen and mosquito repellent.
