5-Day Itinerary for Manali in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Hadimba Devi Temple
    15 minutes (3.2 km) from Manali Bus Stand

    Start your morning by visiting the Hadimba Devi Temple, a wooden temple surrounded by cedar forests. Take a walk around the temple complex and enjoy the peaceful scenery. For lunch, try some local delicacies at the nearby restaurants. In the afternoon, visit the Manali Nature Park, home to a diverse range of flora and fauna. In the evening, explore the Old Manali market for some souvenir shopping.

  2. Day 2: Solang Valley
    30 minutes (14.5 km) from Hadimba Devi Temple

    Get an early start and head to Solang Valley, known for its adventure activities such as paragliding, zorbing, and skiing. Enjoy the scenic views of the valley and take part in your desired adventure activity. For lunch, try some local street food at the base of the valley.   3. Day 3: Manu Temple and Jogini Falls

    Start your day by visiting the famous Manu Temple, dedicated to the sage Manu. Take a walk around the temple complex and learn about the local mythology. For lunch, try some Tibetan cuisine at one of the nearby restaurants. In the afternoon, hike to the Jogini Falls, a picturesque waterfall surrounded by lush greenery. In the evening, explore the cafes and bars in Old Manali.

  4. Day 4: Rohtang Pass and Rahalla Falls
    2 hours (52 km) from Jogini Falls

    Wake up early and head to Rohtang Pass, a high mountain pass that connects Kullu Valley to Lahaul and Spiti Valleys. Enjoy the scenic drive and witness the snow-covered mountains. On your way back, visit the Rahalla Falls, a mesmerizing waterfall located on the way to Rohtang Pass. For dinner, try some local delicacies at one of the restaurants in Manali.

  5. Day 5: Naggar Castle and Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery
    30 minutes (18 km) from Manali Bus Stand

    On your last day, visit the Naggar Castle, a medieval castle overlooking the Kullu Valley. Take a guided tour of the castle and learn about its history and architecture. For lunch, try some Himachali cuisine at the castle restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery, a museum dedicated to the Russian artist Nicholas Roerich. In the evening, catch a bus or taxi to your next destination.
