Family-Friendly 3-Day Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Calangute Beach
    1-hour drive (11 miles) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, enjoy a leisurely stroll along the picturesque Calangute Beach dotted with coconut trees and shacks selling local delicacies. Take a dip in the warm waters of the Arabian Sea or indulge in water sports such as parasailing and jet skiing.   2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    2-hour drive (46 miles) from Calangute Beach

    In the morning, embark on a scenic drive through lush green forests and paddy fields to reach the majestic Dudhsagar Waterfalls, which literally translates to "Sea of Milk". Take a dip in the cool waters of the falls and enjoy a picnic amidst the natural beauty. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Tambdi Surla Mahadev Temple, an ancient temple nestled in the forests. In the evening, head back to Calangute Beach for a traditional Goan dinner at one of the many beachside restaurants.

  3. Day 3: Ancestral Goa and Fontainhas
    45-minute drive (10 miles) from Calangute Beach

    In the morning, visit the Ancestral Goa Museum, showcasing the rich culture and traditions of Goa through art, craft and architecture. Experience the vibrant Goan way of life through art performances, pottery-making and a ride on a local bullock cart. In the afternoon, head to Fontainhas, the Latin Quarter of Goa, to admire the colorful Portuguese-style houses and quaint streets. Visit the Chapel of Our Lady of the Mount for panoramic views of Panaji city. In the evening, head to Panaji's Mandovi Riverfront for a sunset cruise and enjoy the traditional Goan dance and music performances on board.
