3-Day Itinerary for Ladakh in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Leh Palace
    10 minutes (2.1 km) from Leh

Visit the Diskit Monastery, home to a 106-foot Maitreya Buddha statue and Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can enjoy a camel ride. Spend the night in a camp in Hunder.

  3. Day 3: Pangong Tso Lake
    4.5 hours (157 km) from Hunder

    Drive to Pangong Tso Lake, a beautiful blue lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains in the Himalayas. The lake is spread across India and Tibet. You can spend the day admiring the beauty of the lake and its surroundings and enjoying a picnic on the banks. Return to Leh before nightfall.
