4-Day Nature Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary
    35 minutes (13.5 miles) from Dabolim Airport

    In the morning, explore the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, home to over 400 species of birds. Take a boat ride along the mangrove swamps to witness the beauty of nature.   2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls

  3. Day 3: Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary

    Spend the morning at the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, home to various species of animals and birds. Take a nature trail to witness the beauty of the Western Ghats. Have lunch at the forest canteen before heading to the nearby Ancestral Goa Museum to learn about Goan history and culture. End the day with a sunset view from the Goa State Museum, which is just a 30-minute drive from the museum.

  4. Day 4: Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary
    1 hour 40 minutes (33 miles) from Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary

    Start your day with a visit to the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary, home to the elusive black panther and other wildlife. Take a trek in the jungle and explore the Tambdi Surla Temple, a 12th-century temple built in the Hemadpanthi style. After lunch, head to the nearby Tambdi Waterfall and enjoy the natural beauty. End the day with a visit to the Mahalaxmi Temple, just a 45-minute drive from the waterfall.
