3-Day Itinerary for Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore Panaji
    30 minutes (14.5 km) from Goa International Airport
    20 minutes (9.6 km) from Miramar Beach

    Morning: Start your day with a visit to the beautiful Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church. After that, head to the bustling Panaji Market to buy some souvenirs and local products.
    Afternoon: Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant and then visit the Reis Magos Fort which has a great view of the Arabian Sea.
    Evening: Take a stroll on the Mandovi Riverfront Promenade and watch the sunset. End your day with a boat ride on the Mandovi River.

  2. Day 2: Beach Hopping
    1 hour (43 km) from Panaji

    Morning: Start your day early and head to the famous Baga Beach to enjoy the sunrise. After that, visit the beautiful Calangute Beach which is known for its water sports activities.
    Afternoon: Enjoy a delicious seafood lunch at a beachside restaurant and then visit the scenic Anjuna Beach which is famous for its flea market.
    Evening: End your day by visiting the serene Vagator Beach which is famous for its sunset view and then head back to your hotel.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Waterfalls and Spice Plantation Tour
    2 hours (73 km) from Panaji

    Morning: Start your day early and head to the majestic Dudhsagar Waterfalls which is surrounded by lush greenery.
    Afternoon: Enjoy a traditional Goan lunch and then visit the spice plantation where you can learn about the different spices and herbs used in Goan cuisine.
    Evening: End your day by visiting the Sahakari Spice Farm and try some of the farm's homemade feni.

Recommendations

If you have extra time, visit the beautiful Aguada Fort which is 30 minutes (15 km) from Panaji. You can also take a day trip to the beautiful and peaceful Palolem Beach which is 1 hour and 30 minutes (67 km) from Panaji. To maximize your fun, try some adventure activities like parasailing, jet skiing, and banana boat rides.

If you are interested in history and culture, visit the Se Cathedral and the Basilica of Bom Jesus which are both located in Old Goa. You can also take a side trip to the charming Divar Island which is accessible by ferry. Lastly, don't forget to try some of Goa's famous seafood dishes like prawn curry, fish fry, and crab masala.
