7 Day Adventure Itinerary: Kolkata to Kedarnath, Badrinath, Rishikesh, Haridwar (October 2023)

  1. Day 1: Kolkata to Haridwar
    Flight from Kolkata to Dehradun (1 hour 45 minutes) and Drive to Haridwar (1 hour 20 minutes)

    Start the day early with a flight to Dehradun, followed by a scenic drive to Haridwar. Spend the morning exploring the beautiful temples and lively markets. In the afternoon, take a dip in the holy Ganges and witness the famous Ganga Aarti. In the evening, try some delicious street food and enjoy the bustling night market.

  2. Day 2: Haridwar to Rishikesh
    Drive from Haridwar to Rishikesh (45 minutes)

    Begin the day with a yoga class or a nature walk along the banks of the Ganges. After breakfast, head to Rishikesh, the yoga capital of the world. Stroll through the vibrant streets and visit the iconic Beatles Ashram. Take an adventurous hike to the Neer Garh Waterfall and enjoy a refreshing dip. End the day with a beautiful sunset view from the Laxman Jhula Bridge.

  3. Day 3: Rishikesh to Kedarnath
    Drive from Rishikesh to Sonprayag (7 hours) and Trek to Kedarnath (14 Km)

Visit the Badrinath Temple and the Mana Village, the last village before the Indo-China border. Take a dip in the Tapt Kund, a natural hot water spring that is believed to have therapeutic properties.

  6. Day 6: Badrinath

    Spend the day exploring the beauty of Badrinath. Visit the famous Vasudhara Falls and the Bheem Pul, a massive rock believed to have been placed by Bheem, the Pandava prince. Take a dip in the Brahma Kapal, a holy pool where people perform rituals for their ancestors. End the day with a panoramic view of the Himalayas from the Nar Parvat.

  7. Day 7: Badrinath to Dehradun
    Drive from Badrinath to Dehradun (9 hours) and Flight to Kolkata (1 hour 45 minutes)

    Start the day early and drive back to Dehradun. Catch a flight to Kolkata in the evening while reminiscing about the wonderful journey you had.
