5 Days Family Friendly Itinerary for Agra, Vrindavan and Mathura in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Agra
    2 hours (141 km) from Delhi Airport

    Start the day early and visit the iconic Taj Mahal for the sunrise view, then head towards Agra Fort. Grab a delicious breakfast at Hotel Dasaprakash before visiting the ancient and sacred Jama Masjid Mosque. In the afternoon, explore the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, known as the "Baby Taj," and end the day with a sunset view of the Taj Mahal from Mehtab Bagh.

  2. Day 2: Vrindavan
    2 hours (75 km) from Agra

    Start the day by visiting the Banke Bihari Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna, for the Mangala Aarti Ceremony. Get a delicious breakfast at The Brajwasi, and then visit the ISKCON Vrindavan temple. Take a scenic boat ride in the Yamuna river and visit the Prem Mandir for its stunning light and sound show in the evening.

  3. Day 3: Mathura

  4. Day 4: Agra
    1 hour 30 minutes (58 km) from Mathura

    Start your day by visiting the Tomb of Akbar The Great in Sikandra, followed by the Tomb of Mariam-uz-Zamani. Have lunch at the famous Peshawari restaurant, visit the Kinari Bazaar for some shopping, and end the day with a sunset view of the Taj Mahal from the Yamuna River.

  5. Day 5: Agra

    Start the day early and visit the Fatehpur Sikri, an ancient fort and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Have lunch at the Agarwal Restaurant and visit the Mehtab Bagh for a beautiful sunset view of the Taj Mahal. End the day by enjoying the Mohabbat the Taj show, a live performance showcasing the history of the Taj Mahal.
