Dandeli Adventure Itinerary for June 2023

  1. Day 1: Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary
    10 minutes (3.2 km) from Dandeli town

    Start your day early with a visit to the Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary, which opens at 6:00 am. The sanctuary is home to several species of birds, animals, and reptiles. Take a guided tour through the jungle and spot tigers, black panthers, and elephants. After an adventurous morning, stop for lunch at the sanctuary canteen and try local delicacies. Spend the afternoon river rafting at Kali river, one of the best spots for rafting in India. End your day with a campfire and barbecue dinner with your group.

  2. Day 2: Kavala Caves and Syntheri Rocks
    35 minutes (18 km) from Dandeli town

    Start your day with a visit to the Kavala Caves, a natural wonder with stalactites and stalagmites. Explore the cave system with a guide and admire the beautiful rock formations. Afterward, head to Syntheri Rocks, a spectacular gorge formed by the Kaneri river. Take a dip in the natural pool and enjoy the scenic views. In the evening, head back to your hotel and relax for the night.

  3. Day 3: Ulavi Temple and Supa Dam
    1 hour 15 minutes (50 km) from Dandeli town

  4. Day 4: Kulgi Nature Camp and Crocodile Park
