2-Day Delhi Itinerary for City Experiences in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Old Delhi
    20 minutes (6.3 miles) from Indira Gandhi International Airport

    Start your day with a visit to Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India. You can take a guided tour of the mosque and learn about its history and architecture. Then, head to the nearby Chandni Chowk market, one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi. Here, you can shop for traditional Indian clothes, jewelry, and spices. In the afternoon, visit Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You can take a guided tour of the fort and learn about its significance in Indian history. Finish your day with a visit to the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, a Sikh temple known for its beautiful architecture and free food service.

  2. Day 2: New Delhi

    Start your day with a visit to India Gate, a war memorial and iconic landmark in New Delhi. You can take a walk around the monument and enjoy the lush gardens surrounding it.
