3-Day Itinerary for Mathura, Vrindavan, Agra

  1. Day 1: Mathura
    10 minutes (3.5 km) from Vrindavan
    Estimated Time: 5-6 hours

    Morning: Start your day by visiting the ISKCON Temple which opens at 7:00 am. This temple is known for its beautiful architecture and peaceful ambiance. After that, head to the Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple which is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Krishna. This temple opens at 8:00 am.

    Afternoon: Have lunch at the Brijwasi Royal Restaurant which is known for its delicious vegetarian food. After lunch, head to the Gita Mandir which is a temple with beautiful carvings and paintings on its walls and ceilings. This temple is open from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

    Evening: End your day by visiting the Prem Mandir which is a large temple complex known for its beautiful light and sound show in the evening. The show starts at 7:00 pm and lasts for 45 minutes.

  2. Day 2: Vrindavan
    30 minutes (15 km) from Mathura

    Morning: Start your day by visiting the Radha Raman Temple which is one of the most famous temples in Vrindavan. This temple opens at 7:30 am. After that, head to the Banke Bihari Temple which is known for its beautiful deity of Lord Krishna. This temple opens at 8:45 am.

    Afternoon: Have lunch at the Thakurji Bhojnalaya which is known for its delicious vegetarian food. After lunch, head to the ISKCON Temple which is a modern temple with beautiful architecture. This temple is open from 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm.

    Evening: End your day by visiting the Radha Vallabh Temple which is known for its beautiful architecture and serene ambiance. This temple is open from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

  3. Day 3: Agra
    1 hour 45 minutes (75 km) from Vrindavan
    Estimated Time: 8-10 hours

    Morning: Start your day by visiting the Taj Mahal which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The monument opens at 6:00 am and it is recommended to reach there as early as possible to avoid the crowds.

    Afternoon: Have lunch at the Pind Balluchi Restaurant which is known for its delicious North Indian cuisine. After lunch, head to the Agra Fort which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a historical fort in the city of Agra. This fort is open from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.

    Evening: End your day by visiting the Mehtab Bagh which is a beautiful garden complex located on the opposite bank of the Taj Mahal. This garden is open from sunrise to sunset.

Recommendations:

Apart from the above-mentioned places, you can also consider visiting the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah which is also known as the "Baby Taj". You can also take a day trip to Fatehpur Sikri which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a historical city located 35 km from Agra. To maximize your fun, you can try the street food in the local markets and shop for souvenirs. Don't forget to bargain while shopping!
