6-Day Itinerary for Guwahati, Cherapungi, Shillong in October 2023

  1. Day 1: Guwahati
    Guwahati Airport to Kamakhya Temple (12 km, 25 mins)

    In the morning, visit the famous Kamakhya Temple, which is one of the most revered Shaktipeethas. Afternoon visit Nehru Park, which is a peaceful spot for a quiet walk. In the evening, go shopping at the vibrant Fancy Bazar, which is one of the oldest markets in Guwahati.

  2. Day 2: Cherapunji
    Guwahati to Cherapunji (150 km, 3 hrs)

    Start early to explore the amazing living root bridges in the morning. In the afternoon, visit the Nohkalikai Falls, which is one of the tallest waterfalls in India. Enjoy the beautiful scenery at the Seven Sisters Falls. In the evening, explore the Khasi culture by visiting the Khasi Heritage Village.

  3. Day 3: Cherapunji
