Recommendations

If you have extra time, we recommend visiting Lake Toya for a relaxing day trip or taking a train ride on the scenic Hokkaido Railway. For foodies, try the Genghis Khan lamb barbecue in Sapporo and the Jingisukan in Asahikawa. Don't forget to bring comfortable walking shoes and a jacket as the temperature can be cooler in Hokkaido even in summer.
