You can visit Ghepan Temple, which has historical and religious significance, or take a stroll in the apple orchards. Sissu is an excellent place for nature lovers and photographers, with stunning views of the valley and the river. For lunch, try the local cuisine in one of the village's restaurants. In the evening, head to Solang Valley, which is approximately 70 km from Sissu.

  4. Day 2: Solang Valley
1 hour 30 minutes (44.6 km) from Sissu

Solang Valley is a popular tourist destination in Himachal Pradesh, known for its adventure activities and scenic beauty. You can indulge in various adventure sports like zorbing, paragliding, skiing, and horse riding. The valley also offers stunning views of the snow-capped mountains, lush green meadows, and gushing streams. You can take a cable car ride to the top of the mountain for a bird's eye view of the valley. After spending the day in Solang Valley, head back to Manali for dinner and overnight stay.

Recommendations

If you have an extra day, you can plan a day trip to Chandratal Lake, which is approximately 120 km from Sissu. The lake is known for its crystal-clear water and scenic beauty. You can also visit the nearby Buddhist monasteries and learn about their culture and traditions. Another option is to visit Naggar Castle, which is approximately 20 km from Manali. The castle is a heritage property that offers stunning views of the Kullu valley and houses a museum and art gallery. To maximize your fun, plan your itinerary according to the opening and closing times of the attractions and carry sufficient warm clothes as the weather can be unpredictable in the mountains.
